²¹ For this reason ^(A)the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me. ^22 (B)To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so ^(C)I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what ^(D)the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: ^23 (E)that the Christ ^(F)must suffer and that, ^(G)by being the first ^(H)to rise from the dead, ^(I)he would proclaim ^(J)light both to our people and to the Gentiles.”
